As we are reading The 6th Grade Nickname Game by Gordon Korman, I began to think of the nicknames that I have been called throughout my life. Some are good and some are not so good. Most nicknames are given because of something you are good at or go along with your personality. In this post, share with us some of the nicknames you’ve been called by family and friends. I have been given the nickname A.J. I was given this nickname because my first name is Aidan and my middle name is Jake. I do like this nickname and have asked some of my friends to call me A.J.
If I could have another nickname it would be the Aidster. I think it’s a cool nickname.

My parents sometimes call me Sweet Sweet or Sweets because my mom says I am a sweet girl. I am okay with it when my family calls me by my nicknames at home. I don’t like it when my friends call me by my nick name. If I could give myself a nickname it would be Colorful because I am very artistic.

My parents call me Lulu because it is just a silly name and sometimes I act silly. They also call me JoMo which is short for Jaeda Monet. I think these nicknames are cool because my parents created them for me. If I could create a nickname for myself it would be missy lou because sometimes I act sassy.

My nick names are Chipmunk and Care-Care. My nick name Chipmunk came from my uncle. He called me that because I use to shove food into my mouth and I looked like a Chipmunk. I like it because it describes me. My nick name Care-Care came from my friends. I like it because it sounds neat. My friends just took the first part of my name and doubled it. If I had to chose a nick name for myself, I’d chose one I already have.

I’ve gotten nicknames such as CeCe, Banana-rama (but only my mom calls me that), Savannah Banana, and Keener Weener. But my favorite is when my mom calls me Savanny-Pants (please don’t make this catch on). I was given these nicknames mostly because they have something to do with my name. I like most of them but I don’t like Keener Weener. My dad even got called that when he was in school, and so did my sister! But she likes it. If I could give myself a nickname it would be CeCe because it’s the coolest one.

My nicknames are Chasey and young son. My Mom and Dad gave then to me when I was little and I don’t like any of them. I don’t know why they gave me those nicknames. If I could have a nickname that I made up it would be CMack for Chase Mackenzie. It sounds like a famous baseball player name.

I have been given the niknames linnie,lnana, lc,and kari. kari is an african nikname so you might not be able to pronounce it the right way. I was named kari because my middle name is wangari thats an african name too. It means wangari jr. My best friend named me linnie,lanana, and lc. She gave me those niknames when i was in third grade but i dont think they have a cirtain meaning. I really liked those niknames and it will be ok for you call me them in class but i would prefere linnie thats my favorite. If i could give my self a nikname it would be laziya. I will tell you how to pronounce laziya and kari in class tomorrow.

My nickname is alibali. I love this nickname because my mom always calls me it. Well, my mom is the only one that will call me it. My nickname is either ali, alibali, or by my real name which is… I usually get called by ali or alibali, and my brother just calls me… I love all of your nicknames so far. Though, if you don’t have one then try to make one up and tell other people about and also your parents and maybe just maybe it will catch on and become a nickname forever. that is what I did.
The kids in this class landed a very good teacher, be nice to her and she will be nice to you guys.
